Food Glorious Food! Food whilst on safari is plentiful – you will never have to worry about going hungry! Whether that comprises of your early morning coffee and traditional South Africa rusks - not a Farley’s rusk that you had as a child, but more of a biscotti, this is a twice baked biscuit and a staple whilst out on safari.
Some however say that the most important meal of the day is your breakfast, and most would agree that there is nothing better than breakfast after an early morning safari. The Ethos clients all handle breakfast differently, but we can vouch for each and every one of them offering something quite divine, that we have personally tasted ourselves!
Enjoy breakfast on the banks of the Zambezi while you bask in the soft morning sunshine. Take in the melodic rumblings of the river, as dappled light from overhanging trees dance across the table, and the smell of fresh coffee awakens your senses. Surrender to nature’s tranquillity.

Breakfast at Majeka House is a true luxury and reason enough to stay at this lovely boutique hotel in Stellenbosch. Lloyd and Karine are foodies at heart and this is showcased in their lavish display of local wares ranging from fresh juices to homemade pastries. If this is not enough then the a la carte hot breakfast option can see you enjoying eggs benedict or smoked trout with a glass of bubbles from a nearby vineyard. Delicacies that truly make a hotel stay!
