The last year has made us all re-evaluate life. To stop and assess what is truly important to us and to look at how we can ensure that going forward we embrace those changes that will give us the greatest fulfilment. Creating lifelong memories with loved ones is one such trend. The new traveller is looking for ways that they can share experiences with those most important to them – their family.
Family means different things to different people. It could be the traditional sense of the word or it could be those friends that you chose to surround yourself with or a combination of both. Either way, a safari not only enriches the soul and calms the mind but it gives you the opportunity to spend time with your chosen family. We have chosen a couple of our camps in South Africa with new family focused experiences.
Kambaku thrives on family travel. The owners Bryce and Nicola are bringing up their children in the bush so they have first hand knowledge of what needs to go into a successful safari based children’s programme or as they call it their Kambaku Kubs programme. Now, with multi-generational travel in mind, they have further enhanced their offering to focus on the older “kids.” For mother and daughter, a trip to the spa for some together time and for father and son it is a trip to the kitchen for their more creative together time!

The wait is finally over. MCH Private Tented Camp at Garonga is now open for business. In the first week, Bernie and his team hosted a hugely successful small wedding which took the camp exclusively. A great testament to the team. With only 4 tents and a maximum of 8 guests this is the safari retreat for those looking for a camp steeped in traditional style whilst at the same time embracing modern sustainable practices such as solar power to run the camp.
Small enough to take exclusively but large enough to offer space and solitude if required.
We now have a full gallery on MCH for you to utilise when updating your websites:
