Ethos Marketing has been proactively marketing the province of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa for over a decade, and strongly feels that education is the key to getting British holidaymakers to the province!
Over the past 2 weeks, during a cross-country KwaZulu-Natal Roadshow, Ethos Marketing has been launching its new Zulu Route to the UK market! Packed with culture, history, wildlife and some of the province’s best highlights this new regional route is complemented by fantastic accommodation, value for money and a diverse and exciting range of activities on offer.
Without a doubt, the best way to sell KwaZulu-Natal and its many assets is through personal first-hand knowledge and experience – but of course that is not always possible! The trade – and indeed the consumer too – need to have the knowledge, confidence and tools to package tailormade itineraries to get the best of this diverse region!
With this in mind, Ethos Marketing has developed a fun, interactive map which is available online on WWW.ZULUROUTE.COM and will help users explore a range of short or longer term holidays with a click of your mouse as your hire car zooms across the interactive map. A fantastic and fun training module for agents and reservations staff to play around with, as well as a choice of a number of themed itineraries.
Suggested itineraries include “Something for the Family”, “Bush, Berg and Battlefields” and “Myths and Legends” for those who enjoy a taste of history and culture. More ideas will be added in the coming months.
The on-line interactive map also shows places to stop en-route between different properties, will give ideas of how to combine different properties to meet the guests’ profile and highlight some of the key selling points of each region and property to help you sell it better.
Also indicated on the map are a number of suggested establishments to stay at namely Ghost Mountain Inn, Isandlwana Lodge, Cathedral Peak Hotel, Fordoun Spa Hotel, Pakamisa Private Game Reserve and Amakhosi Safari Lodge.
The website with the interactive map are now live and travel agents and consumers are encouraged to log in and explore the province – with a few fun surprises – www.zuluroute.com .
