{"id":2755,"date":"2011-07-05T09:03:52","date_gmt":"2011-07-05T08:03:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ethosmarketing.co.uk.dedi391.nur4.host-h.net\/blog\/?p=2755"},"modified":"2019-10-02T14:12:13","modified_gmt":"2019-10-02T13:12:13","slug":"a-zulu-invasion-of-the-uk-in-july%e2%80%a6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ethosmarketing.co.uk\/blog\/2011\/07\/05\/a-zulu-invasion-of-the-uk-in-july%e2%80%a6\/","title":{"rendered":"A Zulu Invasion Of The UK"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Agents and Operators across the country can look forward to a warm \u201cSanibonani\u201d (Zulu greeting) and a taste of all things \u201cZulu\u201d later this month as the\u00a0<strong>KwaZulu-Natal Roadshow<\/strong> hits UK soil \u2026 running!\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Ethos Marketing<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>South African Airways (SAA), <\/strong>have arranged a number of workshops, training sessions, meetings and exciting Zulu-themed events in \u201cWow factor\u201d venues in London and across the country promoting KwaZulu-Natal \u2013 and its Zulu Route \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ethos Marketing<\/strong> represents 6 hotels\/lodges located in the Zulu Kingdom and a number of the owners are coming over from South Africa, including Richard Bates from\u00a0<strong>Fordoun Spa &amp; Hotel<\/strong>, Isabella Stepski from<strong>Pakamisa Private Game Reserve <\/strong>and Craig Rutherfoord from\u00a0<strong>Ghost Mountain Inn<\/strong>.\u00a0 In addition to these properties,\u00a0<strong>Amakhosi Safari Lodge, Isandlwana Lodge<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Cathedral Peak Hotel<\/strong> will be represented by\u00a0<strong>Ethos Marketing <\/strong>and will also be joined by\u00a0<strong>The Oyster Box Hotel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Agents and operators will also have the chance to meet key partners\u00a0<strong>Africa Collection, African Pride and Tourism KwaZulu-Natal <\/strong>at certain events.\u00a0 Local travel trade are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Programme:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>18 July<\/strong> \u2013 an event for independent specialised travel agents at popular\u00a0<strong>Shaka Zulu<\/strong> restaurant in Camden,<strong>London<\/strong> co-hosted by specialist Tour Operator\u00a0<strong>Africa Collection <\/strong>and<strong> Tourism KwaZulu-Natal<\/strong>.\u00a0 The evening will comprise a workshop followed by a famous Durban Curry!<\/p>\n<p><strong>19 July \u2013 <\/strong>Independent agents in the\u00a0<strong>South East<\/strong> can enjoy a workshop followed by a\u00a0<strong>\u201clekker\u201d traditional braai<\/strong> (Barbeque), hosted by\u00a0<strong>Africa Collection<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Tourism KwaZulu-Natal<\/strong> at Africa Collection\u2019s offices in Horsham, West Sussex.<\/p>\n<p><strong>20 July<\/strong> \u2013 the roadshow heads north to\u00a0<strong>York<\/strong> where\u00a0<strong>African Pride <\/strong>will entertain some of their agents and reservations staff at another workshop.<\/p>\n<p><strong>21 July<\/strong> \u2013 the team head to\u00a0<strong>Cheshire<\/strong> for a lunchtime workshop including drumming and a couple of \u201cbush-tucker trials\u201d for Northern-based tour operators and travel agents at the impressive\u00a0<strong>Jabula <\/strong>South African restaurant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>22 \u2013 24 July<\/strong> \u2013 The Roadshow joins up again with\u00a0<strong>Africa Collection<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Tourism KwaZulu-Natal<\/strong> for the<strong>CLA Game Fair<\/strong> at Blenheim Palace where Africa Collection are pulling out all the stops with a KwaZulu-themed tent including Zulu entertainment and other surprises \u2013 not to be missed!<\/p>\n<p><strong>25 July<\/strong> \u2013 The Roadshow heads for\u00a0<strong>The Cotswolds<\/strong> and a specialist Tour Operator\/Travel Agent brunch event at\u00a0<strong>Lower Slaughter Manor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>25 July<\/strong> \u2013 the final evening will be another workshop and Durban Curry evening at\u00a0<strong>Shaka Zulu <\/strong>in London for tour operators and any travel agents who were not able to attend the first event.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on The Zulu Route, this roadshow or if you would like to attend any of the events, please email\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:info@ethosmarketing.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">info@ethosmarketing.co.uk<\/a> or call 01403 243619.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Agents and Operators across the country can look forward to a warm \u201cSanibonani\u201d (Zulu greeting) and a taste of all things \u201cZulu\u201d later this month as the KwaZulu-Natal Roadshow hits UK soil \u2026 running!
