A group of 11 operators recently visited Zimbabwe\u2019s famous Hwange National Park as well as Botswana\u2019s iconic Okavango Delta – hosted by Machaba Safari\u2019s UK office, Ethos Marketing.<\/p>\n

The group of African specialists enjoyed a delicious brunch in the bush whilst a pride of lions dined out on their own \u201cjumbo\u201d meal nearby at new Deteema\u2019s Springs Camp<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

They cheered on a new-born elephant calf and his brave mum who both put up an epic struggle and managed to survive despite a lurking pack of hyenas and heat exhaustion at Verney\u2019s Camp<\/strong>. The Verney\u2019s waterhole was so busy with elephants that they needed ear plugs just to sleep \u2013 AMAZING!<\/p>\n

On arrival in the Okavango Delta, they joined a pack of painted wild dogs on a hunt right in-front of the swimming pool at Machaba Camp<\/strong>, watched lions mating and a leopard hide his dinner up a tree.<\/p>\n

The trip ended with a mokoro canoe safari at Gomoti Plains Camp<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
