THE BLUE TRAIN 2010 ZIMBALI GOLF GETAWAY

The Blue Train is offering an amazing Golfers Breakaway this year, departing 18 – 22 November 2010.

This 4-night package, departing on a Thursday evening, includes a return overnight journey on The Blue Train and 2 nights at Fairmont Zimbali Lodge on a B&B basis. It also includes 2 rounds of golf at Zimbali Golf Estate (including green fees and cart hire) OR a R700-00 voucher to use at Camelot Spa at Zimbali for non-golfers.

Guests on the train also get a surprise gift on board and whilst at Zimbali each guest will receive a R510.00 meal voucher for use in Zimbali’s restaurants.  The return road transfers from the station to Zimbali are also included.

The cost of this package is just R10,485 per person sharing in a Deluxe suite.  Incredible value for money, costing only just slightly more than the normal R10,120 for the Cape Town/Pretoria route!

ITINERARY

Thursday:

Guests arrive at Pretoria station at 14:00 for check-in. Pre-departure snacks and drinks are served.  The train departs at 15:00.  Guests enjoy dinner on board the train before they retreat to their suites.

Friday:

Guests enjoy breakfast before the train arrives in Durban at 10:00.  Guests are transferred to Zimbali Lodge for check-in. Guests playing golf to please advise the date and times for the 2 rounds of golf in order to pre-book this as per guest’s requirements (bookings for golf will be made once full payment has been received and will be subject to availability)

Saturday:

Guests enjoy breakfast at leisure.  Golfers will enjoy golf as per times requested Non-golfers spend day at leisure and enjoy health spa treatments (voucher to the value of R700-00 included in the rate). 

Sunday:

Guests enjoy breakfast and check-out at 11:00.  At 13:15 guests meet in the foyer and are transferred to Durban Station for the train departing at 15:00.

Monday:

Guests enjoy breakfast before the train arrives at Pretoria station at 09:00.
